The StartUpOlympics Volunteers at MuttVille Senior Dog Rescue

This month the Startup Olympics crew volunteered with udemy’s chosen cause MuttVille Senior Dog Rescue! They recently signed a lease on a new location that is perfect for them and all those lovable mutts. You can vist them at 2500 16th Street in San Francisco!  They needed our help moving in and getting it all mutt friendly and safe! We had fun putting shelves together, moving boxes of toys, food, meds, and kennels.  We were even able to get some demolition work in and knocked out a few things!

Jane Goldman, President of the Board of Directorsat Muttville Senior Dog Rescue had this to say:  “Thanks to our talented and brawny volunteers for starting the big move into Muttville’s new home!  Packing, loading, shlepping, fixing…we’re almost there. Check out the volunteers from Rally.org who rallied to help!.  It’s all still going on, so if you want to help with your time, please contact jillian@muttville.org. You can also make a donation to help out the pooches!

Volunteering with the awesome people of MuttVille was a blast! But they still have a long way to go, so help them out how ever you can!  The StartUpOlympics  is a new kind of sports league that offers SF based StartUps the opportunity to play a variety of games over a 6 month period, all to raise awareness and money for the cause of their choice. This league also coordinates one volunteer day a month that anyone can participate in.  To find out more check out https://rally.org/goodleaguesf
